Portal26 CEO and Founder Named one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2023 Women of Influence

Portal26, Inc., the industry’s leading data security and ransomware extortion defense platform, today announced that its CEO and Founder Arti Raman was named one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2023 Women of Influence (WOI).

”As a female entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, I strive every day to demonstrate ingenuity, perseverance, and inclusion so young women everywhere know there is a place for them,” said Raman. “I want to inspire not only women, but people of all backgrounds, to consider a career in STEM, ignore gender or other biases, foster relationships that will support their goals, and pursue leadership positions without hesitation. I am honored to be recognized on such an esteemed list of women and look forward to what the future will bring with this group at the helm.”

A woman in STEM herself, Raman has jumped the hurdles of tech entrepreneurship and is devoted to bringing other women into the fold – most recently by holding the inaugural Champions in Security Awards that honored a diverse group of industry leaders’ values-based community contributions. She built her career from the ground up, starting as a consultant and founding and growing multiple technology startups. She then served as a senior leader at Symantec before founding Portal26, inspired by her own experiences as a data breach victim. She has recently been recognized with TITAN Women in Business Award and Tech Trailblazers Female CxO Award wins in 2022.

The 100 honorees of the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2023 WOIare prime examples of female leaders committed to lifting other women professionally. The WOI list recognizes business leaders inspiring employees and fellow professionals to welcome diversity and inspire change within the industry. The celebration of this year’s recipients will be on June 29.
